Dodo la veille : Hostal La Casita, Granada, Nicaragua
Hello Bonnie,
Thank you for the confirmation and no worries about the uncertainty. We've been traveling for almost a year now, so I think we can deal with change. ;) Also, we would be happy for you if you get to sell it as you wish.
About the car, we mentioned it to let you know that we we're still not sure about the procedures and length of the permits. It turns out that in Costa Rica, when the 3 month permit expires, the car has to be out of the country for 3 more months before re-entering the country. For us, it means that we would have to be out of Costa Rica before the end of our contract with you, and it also complicates everything if we want to have the car for our contract starting mid-August in Panama.
We are now thinking about driving back to Québec with the car (the original plan) because we can't find a country where the car can be in for enough time without being illegal (and then having to pay a fine when we come back in August).
So, for working with you, we won't be able to come and stay until July. Since you were expecting us and because we would be really happy to go back to Costa Rica, Seb and I tought of it and here's what we can offer : if you accept, we would come for seven to ten days, starting April 27th. This way, you won't be alone when Andy and Chris have to leave for 4 days. Also, if anything else is needed during that period, we would be very happy to help you with that. The only thing we are asking, is for you to cover our next entry fee to Nicaragua which adds up to $24 (which is still accurate with the original $100 allowance per month ($25 per week)).
We were looking forward to this opportunity and find it unfortunate that we won't be able to do it, so if what we offered can help you, it would made us very happy to come.
We are in Nicaragua right now and will be waiting for your response.
Gen & Seb
